General

faceATT is a facial recognition platform that replaces punch cards, access cards, and manual sign-in sheets with secure, contactless identity verification — using nothing more than a smartphone.

No. faceATT runs on standard Android, iOS, and Huawei smartphones. There is no dedicated hardware to buy, install, or maintain.

Common use cases include staff attendance tracking, visitor management, secure facility access, and organising dynamic tasks tied to verified identity.

Organisations across retail, manufacturing, logistics, education, and professional services use faceATT wherever accurate, fraud-resistant attendance or access verification matters.

Account & Billing

Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full feature access and no credit card required. See our Pricing page for details.

Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.

We accept major credit and debit cards, EFT bank transfer, and select mobile payment options. Enterprise customers can arrange invoice billing.

Any individual enrolled for facial recognition — employees, contractors, or regular visitors — counts as a user. Admins who only access the dashboard do not.

Security & Privacy

No. faceATT converts each face into an encrypted mathematical template. Templates cannot practically be reverse-engineered back into a photo.

faceATT is designed with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in mind. Organisations enrolling users remain responsible for obtaining valid consent — see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. Requests can be made through the enrolling organisation or directly to info@faceatt.com, and biometric templates will be deleted within a reasonable period.

Access to enrolled data requires authenticated login, and administrators can immediately revoke device or account access from the web dashboard.

Technical

Yes, core recognition can run without internet connection, with attendance records syncing automatically once the device is reconnected to the internet.

faceATT uses modern recognition models tuned for real-world lighting and angle variation, minimising false matches while keeping recognition fast.

Enterprise plans support data export and API access for integration with common payroll and HR platforms. Contact our team to discuss your specific setup.

No hard device limit — the number of concurrent devices depends on your plan's user allowance rather than device count.

The “GPS Not Found” message indicates that the app cannot access your device’s GPS location. Try these steps:

1. Ensure that your device’s location services are enabled and that Faceatt has permission to access your location.

3. Wait for 10 – 15 seconds then retry
4. Or restart the app or your device to refresh the GPS connection.
